One of the most active stocks on the VSE. 6million shares. from stockwatch: McCarthy proposes restructuring McCarthy Corporation plc MCY Shares issued 123,467,890 2000-03-10 close $0.06 Monday Mar 13 2000 Mr. Tim McCarthy reports The board of McCarthy Corporation plc has been in arm's-length discussions with the Virgin shareholding group and principal creditors for several months with a view to restructuring the affairs of MCC. These discussions are at an advanced stage and the company anticipates being in a position to circulate an information circular with detailed proposals involving a debt/equity restructuring shortly to all shareholders of MCC in anticipation of an upcoming extraordinary shareholders' meeting.
