I am certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that CSCO, vis a vi their Cerent division, is growing faster than NT's optical Sonet/SDH division. I am extremely confident that Cerent's wins are at the expense of 3 vendors generally- NT, LU and Fujitsu. Those vendors have nothing (that I am aware of) that can touch the 454. I don't dispute the Dell Oro findings, but CSCO is going to make up some ground in the coming quarters. I am less certain of CSCO's ability to compete in the long haul DWDM space w/Perelli gear.
