Simba, It is the SS oldsters that the new CPI scheme was originally cooked up for. Unions have a bunch more to worry about than COLAs. And seeing that SSI is a ponzi deal anyway, it's only natural to unwind it slowly.

Well, at least my great grandfather put a total of 100 bucks into the system and then lived to 99. In that light I look at my contributions as payback. -g- A denial way to feel better about the haircut.
