Re: "No - but he did tell me you were faked out about that $53.25 after hour trade - which became $51.25 at the end of trading."
Comment: Don't know what's below but do know that the overseas negativity is subsiding, and that, combined with the overselling in AMD over the past 2 trading days, should make for a fairly strong positive upward move by AMD over the next little while. Once AMD breaks $53.25, the jittery AMDites will start clamouring aboard once again...Wouldn't surprise me if another AMD positive trend begins anew today! After all, Paul, I'm sure you'd agree that at $51.50, AMD is way way undervalued given their ownership of the 800 to 1000 MHz microprocessor niche, and given the not wholly unrealistic prospect of Q1 revenues exceeding $1 billion and Q1 earnings excedding $1.00...My guess is that AMD could be much higher than $51.50 well before Q1 earnings release on April 12, or alternatively, if one is intent on waiting for the Apr. 12 earnings release, one may miss another significant upleg in AMD price...It is within the context of the scenario just presented that I don't think you'll see a close below $50, at least not until after a stock split...What do you think, Paul? Do you really believe that we'll see a close at $45 before Q1 earnings release? If you do, matbe you should pick up some puts if any strength is evidenced this morning! |
