[Contracts]

Pat,

I'm sure you remember just as I do the run-up of AMTX to 36 and the terrible spiral back down. If AMTX is indeed going up because of contract rumors and people buying into those rumors, then you know what the probable short term result will be if contracts are not announced at Interop. After seeing all my profit vanish into losses once, I am reluctant to wait around if AMTX starts to nosedive again during Interop. The same holds true for WSTL. If they announce nothing substantial, WSTL's gains may evaporate overnight.

I am trying to be cautious as I see what being greedy got me the first time around. I also happen to think it is a prudent strategy to get out with some gains. Its better to make a profit than see your profit and then your original capital deteriorate before your eyes.

You are a long term AMTX investor. I will also be long term (instead of short term)when I see deployments being announced. I stated some time ago that I thought xDSL stocks may advance prior to Interop, and then go down after the show. It all depends what news is announced. If the momentum starts to disappear, so will the short term price.

All AMTX and WSTL investors should exercise caution over the next few days. Nobody (outside of all xDSL investors who will not sell regardless) should be caught in a deteriorating situation during or after Interop. If I sound bearish, I'm not. I'm only trying to be prudent after a runup like this.

Mike
