Dirk:

I'm just an observer at this point. I'm not really able to do a fundamental risk / reward evaluation on the company or stock. However, I did stop in the CT Insurance Department yesterday and discovered they haven't filed their statutory financial statements yet (all Insurers have to file b/4 March 1st) and I confirmed they are having a problem with the filing.

On upside / downside. Upside we could have a shareholder move to replace the current board (the current takeover provisions are to prohibitive for a hostile takeover and I'd expect management to institute the same provisions in the spinoffs). The downside will be mid 40's now with the street knowing there are companies interested @$70 even if the company doesn't want to deal.
