Austin, I was thinking of calling the company for an answer to your question. Geoffsimpson over at Raging Bull did just that and posted this, which I hope helps:

Spoke to CEO
Roger is a very nice guy that is willing to speak to any investors. When I hung up I could not believe that our call was over 20 mins. Apparently they are skipping past the Nasdaq Small Cap listing and trying to go to the National market. He said they have a Washington lawyer working on it and admitted that, as with most organizations, he does not know if it will be two weeks or two months - but they have all the other requirement met - just waiting on the application approval.
He mentioned four companies as comparable. IXTC (private), Net2Phone (50x sales), DeltaThree (11x sales) and IBAS (33x sales). He said the difference is that these companies sell to wholesale customers and they have a retail market built up and will be selling "spot" minutes. By way of comparison, I bought IBAS some time ago b/c they had over 1mm minutes billed during the last twelve months. Roger said that they will have 17 pipes laid with a minimum of 1/4 mm minutes each by the end of the second quarter.
Someone posted earlier that they heard that the quarter was not going to be steller. While he never confirmed this, I think there could be some truth to this - however - I think selling on this short-term phone card profits would be short sighted as the VoIP is the business they are pushing.
He mentioned that they are following a strategy similar to the MCI/Sprint strategy in late 1970's by entering recently deregulated markets and taking all the marketshare.
Mentioned that they have some institutional support but that the real support will come once they are listed as most institutions are restricted from purchasing OTC stocks.
I was calling b/c I was worried about the recent slide (as if two days could be called a trend?!) and I got off the phone thinking that this company will continue to grow to become a leader in their field and have decided to not sell my shares and rather take a long-term view that this could become a fully integrated telecom provider that I just happened by dumb luck to get into at $0.40. It has become a significant portion of my portfolio but i am going to hang on. Good luck to all and I encourage you to call the company if you are interested in buying (or selling) to get a better feel for DTIX's future. It sure helped me.
