taxman....

although i trade options, i only do so in companies that have inherent strong fundamentals....chip manufacturers should post strong earnings going forward if you believe in wireless, broadband and anything else. i like and am long or desire to be long atml, crus, cnxt, brcm, xlnx, txn. you may also consider the smaller chip equipment manufacturers such as svgi($16+ book value) and astx...

i don't follow value line, but would be interested in their ratings on svgi and astx.

everybody tends to buy and chase the end product as in qcom, nok, etal....but without the downstream supply of components nothing happens....

take care..ed a.

p.s.....you may also want to look at taiwan semi conductor...
