ELON:

Janet, I'm probably the last of the Mohicans to read your Hunt field report on ELON, the gorilla candidate. I hope you'll accept my humble gratitude for the time you put in trying to help the rest of us neophytes make sense of this animal. I thought it was a great report, and further elevates the standards of the contributions being made by youngbloods such as yourself.

I'll be repeating the Portfolio Survey in a month or so, and it will be interesting how your high quality report has influenced threadsters here to wade in on ELON.

I'd like to publicly thank Sir Thucydides for championing the HUNT effort, and providing direction.

Now maybe you all can help me out with a certain problem I have, ie...... I don't have enough money for all of these hyperattractive gorilla candidates and Kings! We've added a lot of companies to the discussion, compared to about 6 months ago. That's good; not complaining.

But I wonder if, once we have completed the Project HUNT list, it would be useful to try to rank order the list in some way, such as growth potential. I suppose the next Thread Portfolio Survey may point us in that direction, since people vote with their feet; but I think whatever the Survey results, there will be a lag between what people think and where their money presently is located.

Maybe UnQ or some others can speak to the idea of trying to rank order all of these companies that are being evaluated, and listed on the W & W list.
