A correction in a bull move which up to now is what we appear to have gives us what we've got: a lot of questions as to why the stock isn't moving.

Curly over on the Yahoo board has an interesting theory in two posts which I'll repeat here for convenience:

To say that Akins and Angus are patsies for the brokerages is an understatement. I blame Angus because he should know better. The company's stock has clearly lagged it's peer group in the most recent period and now is significantly undervalued relative to its peers from the standpoint of growth-adjusted P/E and other measurements - and that places zero value on CYMI's market dominance which is ridiculous.

So, what do you think a good CFO would do? - Ask a lot of questions getting the word out on how undervalued the stock is?; Implement an effective IR program?; Hire different investment bankers to explore ways to enhance shareholder value? or maybe get the word arround internally that this is no time for management to - yet again - file to sell shares?

None of the above.

Angus - yet again - filed to sell more shares followed by Akins, Sangstrom and Holtaway. All done on Feb. 3-4 and ALL foolishly filed with Morgan Stanley as the broker of record. So what does Morgan Stanley do knowing they've got a chip shot sale of 200,000 shares? You got it. Start shorting the stock and then on Feb. 8 Deahna the MS analyst comes out with a ridiculously unjustified downgrade with no coherent rationale. The reason being that Mr. Angus and Co. are about to get a hosing on the sale of their shares. Now I'm not sure everyone would say that they've been given the patsy treatment but anyone with half a brain cell would have to conclude that.

Ahh Sorry Bob and Bill the market just wasn't there for us to sell your shares so we could only get you this. Thank you for your business.

What a hose down. Unbelievable that they're still with these guys. The fortunate thing is that underlying fundamental conditions will overcome these types of stupid moves, but shareholders definitely shoould begin to question Mr. Akins and Angus about the inauspicious timing of these sales as well as the monopolistic brokerage being used.

AMAT which has an incredibly larger organization has had virtually ZERO insider sales during this period on a much larger share base.

That's the difference for the shareholders right there in a nutshell

Good Luck To Each And All

Now that the Akins/Angus show has been played for patsies and relieved of their recent shares it's time for a re-inflation of the price to sell the shares that used to be Akins/Angus's but are now Morgan Stanley's. Therefore expect for good things to start happening with the stock price as these shares will be sold at a significant mark-up.

Deahna came out today listing CYMI as a "top pick" in a research abstract on the presenters at their recent conference. Also said, demand and visibility solid through the first half of '00 drive by demand for flash memory and Sony's PS2 as Japanese chipmakers are ramping orders for capital equipment.

Slam bam thank you maam - we're getting close to back to the races.

Sittin tight.
