The above comes from a Robertson Stephens PR reiteration on AFCI. So I guess they were right. It's at the bottom of this post at: Message 11738204 ****************** "Jan 31, 2000....France Telecom has one of the most ambitious plans for mass deployment of broadband services over ADSL infrastructure in Europe." I knew I recently recalled another equipment vendor getting some DSL business from France Telecom. The above comes from a PR out of ECI Telecom(sym:ECIL). So it looks like ECIL and AFCI are going to work together to roll out DSL in France. Here's the PR: Message 12781561 IMO France, UK, and Germany are the most serious about rolling out DSL to the masses. This should be a very nice contract for AFCI. At this time, I'm not exactly sure how the pieces are going to fit? Just guessing but maybe AFCI will get the remote NGDLC business and ECIL the CO. -MikeM(From Florida)
