George, I'm in general agreement with you I would not think about buying until VIX spikes well over 30. except to point out that when things get real ugly, VIX will be 50-60... Then its time to buy, and not on the first spike above 50, the second. However... some dips are not meant to be bought. I won't be far from my trigger during those days. if this is it.
