I'm a physician and that comment really annoyed me. It was from an allergist who prescribed a given antihistamine based on which detail-person (salesperson) visited him more often. Not something that a professional should admit to. I don't talk to detail people. What is often not mentioned, though, is cost, particularly of antihistamines. The OTC ones are much cheaper, the prescription ones are very high. That is often a factor, not always mentioned.
