Ok. Many web sites have been reporting that Thunderbird will be introduced in May. AMD has said by the end of Q2 (assuming late June). I am sure that Intel knows that Dell can not afford to stay loyal for more than a month or two after the T-bird is released if Intel doesn't have a competitive product out. I think we can count on limited volumes of Willamette being shipped to Dell in the July-August time frame.

My exit strategy on AMD is to hold until Willamette benchmarks are published on the web. If they blow away T-bird, and a competitive Mustang is not near release, I will then dump my AMD. Until then, I'm holding strong.

Pravin.
