liberal lawdog, How do you relate a gun to a nuke? Like you would relate a bullet to a guided missle? Let's argue. Where do you think America would be if the American "colonists" had not owned their hunting arms? Probably still a "colony" of Great Britain. Our personal arms also served us well in the French and Indian war. Will there ever be a need to defend ourselves from our government? I hope not. But I'll bet the Jews that were murdered by Hitler never imagined they would need to defend themselves either. What if even one in five Jewish persons that were rounded up and murdered had been able to kill even one German soldier? The history books would have been written differently.
