You talking a totlly different market. You seem to be ignorant of the facts that tape is on an exponential curve. In your entertainment market, I agree. But that it totally different from Enterprise. Tell me what medium can store a Terabyte per cubic inch of media and yo can win this argument. Otherwise why not learn from someone in the data storage industry. Tape will always have a big spot/ Ask the MIT Haystack Observatory how to download 2TB per day from satellites. Same story for Ford and any big company. You are talking more real time editing stuff and why Jaz will be huge. Plese do not let any facts get in the way of your opinions. Jim Porter at DiskTrend can give you info about tape market.
