OT**BK,

Comments from CSCO's CFO:

By 2003, Mr. Carter said, Cisco's addressable market will swell to $148.3 billion, with $62.5 billion of that coming from work on telecommunications networks.

Hmmm. Not bad for a company with a $450bn market cap. Three times potential addressable revenues in three years. If they can just get 50% market share with 50% net profit margins, it is only trading at 12 x's 2003 earnings. If they can capture 100% market share, they would only be trading at 6 x's 2003 earnings. If they could crank up the profit margins to, say, 100%, they are trading at only 3 x's 2003 earnings! Cheap enough.
