Unfortunately, it is unlikely that UNC and EVT will be taken over by another fund company any time soon. With the cross ownership between the companies in Jackman's world, control is pretty well locked-up.

I've owned both these stocks for years and have never seen the discounts so large. In the US, shareholder lawsuits have forced management to act to increase value, but in this case it would probably be hopeless. These guys simply don't care about the individual shareholder.
