GTC Telecom's Long Distance Plan Beats AT&T, MCI, Sprint, and Qwest

Kiplinger's Once Again Rates GTC Telecom's Long Distance Rate Above AT&T, Sprint, Qwest, and MCI

COSTA MESA, Calif., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- GTC Telecom (OTC Bulletin Board: GTCC - news) today announced it was featured in Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine, April 2000, in an article titled ``Parlez-vous Phone Bill.'

GTC's long distance rate was compared to AT&T, Sprint, MCI as well as Qwest Communications and was forty percent lower than its closest competitor, which was MCI's five-cent Sundays. The permanent rate assumed 120 minutes of interstate calls in the evening hours and included monthly
service fees to arrive at the true cost of calling.

Paul Sandhu, CEO of GTC Telecom commented, ``We are extremely pleased that the GTC name is still recognized in the telecom industry as the lowest long distance rate available for today's consumer.

Recent attention given to long distance rates, such as NBC's Dateline story regarding the 10-10-xxx wars, has illustrated that consumers are becoming more savvy and demanding true low rates. GTC Telecom is the consumer's choice for a low cost long distance option.'

This follows GTC's recent announcement of the launch of CallingPlanet.com which is offering consumers an unprecedented low cost option for international calling, which is a service comparable to other voice over IP PC to phone products offered by Net2Phone and Ursus Telecom.
