SI Diamond Technology (SIDT) SIDT has moved from Houston to Austin. They use a proprietary technique to prepare a low electron affinity surface on a diamond-like carbon material called "Amorphic Diamond". Other than that, their technology is similar to Field Emission Displays. I don't think I am at liberty to say much more than that about the technology itself. I have heard rumors that the company is not doing well, but I have not substantiated those rumors in any way.
