Market Maker Slowdown Tactics/Ways to Get Your Limit Order Through More Quickly

Have anyone of you seen this trend? MM's are not filling orders very quickly or at all on many OTC/BB stocks, especially at the open, but also during the trading day. Locked bid and asks are also becoming more common (i.e. bid and ask the same which means that no trading will occur). Either they are short and overwhelmed (temporarily) by buying, they are trying to "hide" momentum, or they are trying to panic people out of shares with their (temporary) inactivity so they can pick up cheap shares. What they really want are Market order buys and sells of course.

I have even seen great news come out on stocks at the open, only to see the MM's process only a few sell orders. I saw this with FVSN, in particular a couple weeks ago when it was at 68 cents or so (only to hit $1.50 a week or two later).
Sometime 2-3 hours go by and then all of a sudden massive amounts of buy orders are finally filled.

Just be aware. MM's are getting caught a bit lately and may not fill orders for a long time.

If anybody else has any other observations, by all means share.

IF YOUR LIMIT BUY ORDER IS NOT FILLING:
Call your broker and ask them to route your order through another Market Maker. Many will do this. Most use Knight and he has not been getting orders through very well the last few weeks, at least of some stocks. This strategy works! I've used it several times. SPREAD THE WORD!

Just my observations, FWIW
