Sounds pretty bad, but I don't follow IBM that closely. One thing for sure, accrual accouting shenanigans do not fool the big money. The big money also does not follow sell side analysts recommendations. If what you say is true (without any mitigating factors to act as a countenance), the stock should see a significant slide. This is assumption on my behalf, since I don't follow IBM though (it could have been undervalued all of this time), but you seem to know plenty of the facts.

Continue to fill me in, and I'll look into it from my perspective.
