The Boswell Report: AMD Performs Poorly, INTC to DominatePRICE C 3/14/0 13:31 (New York) Petz, This report is odd considering that AMD had an inventory of 200-300 k at the end of the year. If production was so poor, why it that that the inventory downdraft is only 22%......you would expect that percentage to be much higher. In February AMD was reported taking back market share in January retail pc sales and Sanders reported that AMD was calling for a better than expected quarter. In 30 days things changed that quickly? I doubt it.....I don't think Sanders would have made his comments if he couldn't see to the end of the quarter. We know he doesn't want to risk shareholders lawsuits. Besides AMD is calling for a 1 billion $ quarter. Are you sure this report was not commissioned by Intel? It seems the data may be faulty. ted
