Sony's apology

SONY'S Guangzhou Office apologized publicly in the Hainan Daily last week for its irresponsible attitude and actions toward a TV customer and the Lepusheng Shopping Building, the shop that sold the TV set in Haikou, capital city of Hainan Province, the China News Service reported. The shop stopped selling all products manufactured by the Japanese electronics giant Sony for about 40 days after its Guangzhou office refused to replace an allegedly deficient part for a Sony 2565 colour TV. Apart from apologizing, the Sony office has also paid for relevant losses and promised to improve after-sale service in the future.
