ASHBURN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2000--Enterworks(R), a
leading provider of real-time cataloging and process automation
solutions for e-marketplaces and information portals, has been

Vital Information Portal Reporting Systems (VIPRS) will be formally
presented for inclusion in the Innovation Collection of the
Smithsonian's National Museum of American History on Monday, April 3,
2000.

VIPRS, which integrates and manages distributed information over
disparate content sources into a single view, is based on Enterworks'
award-winning, real-time cataloging solution. Enterworks Content
Integrator(TM) has been successfully installed at three Veterans
Administration hospitals in Pennsylvania to manage information from
new and legacy hospital information systems. VIPRS enables
organizations to generate over 200 in-depth clinical and

"We are pleased to be nominated for this prestigious award from
the Computerworld Smithsonian Program," said Bob Lewis, president and
CEO of Enterworks. "Solutions such as Enterworks Content Integrator(Tm)
enable innovations such as VIPRS, which is a key step toward improving
the way healthcare institutions, businesses and government
organizations view and understand information."

Established in 1988, the Computerworld Smithsonian Program (CWSP)
searches out and honors organizations for the positive social,
economic and educational change their information technology solutions
produce. As part of the 2000 Information Technology Innovation
Collection, Enterworks' VIPRS technology will be archived in the
Smithsonian's National Museum of American History's Permanent Research
Collection. Case studies from the 2000 Computerworld Smithsonian
