The RMS is finally turning up. I talked for a while with IR person Jon Weis from EPR. I traded some between 13-14 and then 12-13, and am now looking at buying near 11, but it is scary. He reassured me a lot. Alliance Capital is apparently dumping, mostly due to redemptions in the REIT fund. A mortgage REIT (BRT) is buying the stock. They can't buy back any more shares after Friday, due to quiet period near the end of the quarter. United Artists is apparently in dire straits and has a note due the end of March that they may not be able to meet. EPR has little or no exposure to UA, so this should be a non-event for them. EPR has stadium seating in most or all of their locations, so they shouldn't have the retrofiting expense coming up. He said book value is in the $17.00 range.
I may buy a long term position, but will do it slowly over the next 3-8 weeks.
Richard
