Any problem with getting hardware from Compaq, Dell, IBM, HP, etc.?

Affording it?

I wonder if this corporate buying for W2K might not at least temporarily slow Sun sales.

Or, slow W2K sales. Think of yourself as being in the position of having 5,000 or 20,000 desktops, a large percentage of which won't run W2K. You can spend a ton of money upgrading, but to what advantage ... some more stability at the desktop, possibly some advantage (or not) from the directory services, but is that compelling? And, you are buying a huge headache to do the upgrade, including all the software which may also not run there. Or do you set up a few W2K boxes to experiment with, bide your time on the desktops, and put your money in the servers you need for your company's internet initiative?
