THUD ! Ouch !!

Damn that first step....someone's gotta get that step fixed. Oh, never mind....that thud wasnt the step, it was my portfolio hitting bottom.

Man, it's been a sad week. Thankfully I have been too busy to watch most of the day lately.

Normally I would be excited and would be out scooping up shares of my favorites...problem is yesterday, I sunk a ton into LPTHA at around $51 and last week a bunch into RNWK at about $72 and added more jdsu after the split at $135. All were bought on margin, so my dry powder is...well, it's a little dry.

I really expected the naz to come back strong this afternoon, but I guess it wasnt to be......I see the dow had a nice gain. Are people really buying Proctor and Gamble and Toys r Us ??

Anyway...Tom and others, what are your thoughts on the naz. Is the summer correction here a little early ? I was planning on being on zero margin when the summer correction hit, so I could use margin when we are down. I am wondering if maybe this isn;t just a blip...we rebound nicely and see the real correction down the road a little. Also, what are your thoughts on rnwk and lptha particularly. Both are killing me right now...especially lptha with a $15k+ loss since yesterday. I refuse to sell unless the margin police come lookin...but on the flip side, I hate sitting heavy on margin with things going into the toilet.

Your opinion(s) are appreciated.

Keith
