JDN, It seems possible that the great motivators of greed & fear are about to change seats. If so, the question will be; Where will the hot, scared, momentum driven money move? I don't think into money market funds or bonds. More likely into the battered blue chips. Low PE, high dividend yield, liquidity, quick ramp up of price etc. The change in psychology could happen quickly. Today ORCL with blow out earnings was downgraded. PaineWebber on Wednesday morning said analyst Sara Farley has "slashed" the firm's one-year stock target price for Amazon to $68 from $74. Only time will tell, but I figure a lot of investors & MM's are going to be evaluating the risk profile of their portfolios. Dave
