hey sim... maybe you could have worded your post a little better and shown some compassion... i too think he'd learned the hard way NOT to transfer options... maybe leaps.. but NOT options.. and even then i wouldn't xfer leaps.. unless i was planning on holding them for months and months.. usually in the past I've liquidated all holdings, taken out the cash and then signed up a new OLB and mailed in a check. sorry to hear things can get so bad for etrade customers... i too have my own horror stories.. many involve etrade reps repeatedly NOT returning my phone calls.. even when they promise too... then i talk to someone else who says they'll call me back.. and it never happens either.. it's a fun game etrade plays... give TERRIBLE service and see how long customers stay anyway.. my money is invested here because anytime a company can have bad service like this and still keep its customers... must have a POWERFUL brand name in which people feel compelled to use their services.. reminds me of AOL and I'd have done VERY well to have held that one in the early years jim
