Casual evidence suggests that people who sold recent IPOs (XCAR, CTRA, FIRE,
SVNX etc) after 30 days got blacklisted by Etrade. These accounts are reported
to be getting early "no allocation" notices simultaneously with "flipped"
accounts. For example, according to discussion in the chat, such notices
for Improvenet arrived at 17:54 PST to both "flipped" and recently sold
accounts, while clean accounts received messages around 18:10 PST.
Both flipped and recently sold accounts got "no allocation" messages for PSI
Technologies around 19:13 PST, while clean accounts got such messages around
19:26 PST. It may be the case that the arrival time of notices to "flipped"
and recently sold accounts are nothing to worry about (for example, Etrade
may be checking both types of accounts for flipping first). There is a very easy way to
figure this out:

COULD YOU PLEASE POST A MESSAGE IF YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT THAT SOLD A RECENT
IPO AFTER 30 DAYS AND GOT ALLOCATED ANOTHER IPO ON ETRADE?

We have enough people here for a meaningful sample size, and should be able to figure out
if we have to be worried.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. A friend asked me to post this message here, and I certainly agree that we need to definitively figure out what's going on with this.

Thanks...
