I'm an American and I've yet to see a UN (or anything else) initiative that helps blacks. Canada sponsoring this initiative means zero and it's going nowhere. Kosovo is white. There was action, lots of it. Desert Storm was Muslim, lot's of action. Even if the rebels win there will be no government and no law and since the mines are financing the action there will be no mining by a third party company. If you have the time I would recommend that you read John Readers book called "Africa". It was a wake up call for me with respect to a history that has fatalistic implications.
