Dan,

As it currently stands, it is not possible to view, through a profile, messages prior to the most recent 80, and I haven't heard about plans to change this, although I can see where it'd be handy.

I'll bring this to the attention of the engineers and see if they want to take a look at it.

It's a performance issue (bringing older records into a constantly full cache) but with the performance enhancements currently taking place, we may find we can afford the extra overhead.
