While the Rocket engineered a SmartMedia slot SoftBook is endorsing the CF standard: With an optional Compact Flash(R) memory card, the SoftBook Reader can also hold over 100,000 pages. This may bring Sony to the table for a MemoryStick eBook product. FWIW, I don't watch Gemstar's trading much the week options expire as it is always volatile. Know it for what it is and that these palpitations pass. Regards Stew
