These are not the Net Fridge/Toasters guys: Ericsson, HP, EMC(DGN), ORCL, Sun - inprise.com VisiBroker can do CORBA development with Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), and by extension, deliver rapid application development in intelligent Jiro devices. That's going to be big in smart networks. There's a Java-Linux hook also. Ken Black, president of Highlander, said ``The same major benefits that CORBA provides in the enterprise environment are applicable to other products using embedded technology. CORBA lets software developers build complex, distributed object-based applications with near universal interoperability among diverse programming languages and hardware architectures.
