JVWeb Adds Another iHomeLine Station: Richmond, Va's Flagship AM to Beef Up Coverage in East
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 2000--JVWeb, Inc. (OTCBB: JVWB - news, JVWBW - news) JVWeb's previously announced joint venture, iHomeLine, is pleased to announce the addition of its newest iHomeLine station: Richmond, Virginia's AM 1140 WRVA. Richmond's flagship station reaches almost one million people in the Northern Virginia corridor during the day and 38 states in the evening. This agreement dramatically increases the reach that iHomeLine advertisers cast when using JVWeb's integrated sponsorship of www.ihomeline.com and the HomeLine Talk Radio Show. The following table outlines the balanced demographics that JV has acquired for its iHomeLine advertisers with the addition of the Richmond market:

As previously stated, the combined iHomeLine radio and webcast is now reaching over five million listeners, with over 100,000 visitors to the website in its first month. With the addition of Richmond, this brings the number of major cities in which the HomeLine Talk Radio Show can be heard to five: Richmond, Stamford, Jacksonville, Houston and Norwalk, plus, of course, at www.iHomeLine.com.

Greg Micek, CEO of JVWeb commented on the transaction by providing a revenue recap, ``The partial list of advertisers who have already joined the site and radio program sponsorship has resulted in gross revenues for iHomeLine exceeding $120,000 in annualized dollars from iHomeLine's mid-January kickoff through the end of February, 2000. In March, we have received indications of interest from first tier advertisers who are interested in purchasing an integrated sponsorship. Each day, JVWeb gets a step closer toward offering iHomeLine on a national scale and tapping into a lucrative national advertising base that will greatly benefit our core base of niche advertisers in local markets. We cordially invite all of our shareholders to view our newly minted flash presentation that details our strategy by visiting jvweb.com.'

Rob Van Ripper, General Manager of WRVA 1140 AM in Richmond, added, ``With WRVA and its 50,000 watts of clear channel power, iHomeLine gets the most powerful AM station in Virginia. By adding Jim Neidner's iHomeLine home improvement program, we give our special interest listeners a second-to-none lineup that includes gardening, herbal pharmacy, computer training, healthy living and medical advice. Our station is a great buy for iHomeLine advertisers because we reach over 150,000 different people age 12 and over, and 30% of our listeners have liquid assets of $100,000. So, clearly, this agreement is a net win for both parties, and we look forward to this relationship for years to come.'

JVWeb believes it is the first rich media vendor to offer 1) the advertiser with multiple-platform (radio & Internet) advertising, 2) major assistance in obtaining further banner exchange, multimedia ad revenue and 3) the ability for the advertiser to obtain customized positioning space within all HomeLine productions from one vendor at one price. Advertisers who are interested in this kind of value for their advertising dollars are encouraged to contact Mr. Gooley at (713) 622-9287 x17.

iHomeLine.com is a 50/50 joint venture with Jim Neidner, an award winning homebuilder, remodeling specialist and radio talk show personality. With over 4000 pages of information, more than 50 targeted information areas, and access to over 3 million radio listeners and visitors, this site is structured to quickly become America's primary resource website for home improvement.

Future plans include integrating Jim Neidner's radio talk show, Repair Talk, as a dual live webcast and radio broadcast. Repair Talk can presently be heard on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on the Clear Channel's Houston affiliated radio station, KPRC. The website will serve as an additional resource for Jim Neidner's expertise. Among the features the site has to offer is access to Jim Neidner's professional advice through the message boards that will be available on various home improvement topics, managed by Jim Neidner
