The time and era when firms had the luxury to properly pontificate, plan and posture just to please others - inside and outside of the company - is OVER.
Earlier this year we just crossed the line from Old to New. Prior to this year there was the rumblings of newness and change and transformation and unbundling, but now we are here, period.
It's Katy Bar the Door time!!
The stark potential reality of this change began to seep into the individual and collective consciousness of mankind
a few years ago.
But now the curtains are open and we are all on a brand New stage.
What's change?
The reality is that THE INDIVIDUAL is, has been and always will be in control of everything.
The only thing lacking up until early this year has been the collective catalyst or radical light force.
Prior to this year, there was still enough fear and uncertainty in the system to prevent this shift from coalescing and aggregating.
But remember, it only 3% of the people actively support the Revolution against England.
The England of today are traditional companies, governments and the people who value and understand rules/structure, procedure/process, security/safely over the vast great potential that can come from this new open, more trusting and compassionate paradigm in which morality, ethics naturally support this massively powerful reality of freedom and individual empowerment.
How ironic that Eric Schmidt is hosting Prince Charles.
I have nothing personal against England - for I am 1/2 English on both sides of my family - but the power of England has not gone away. It's still very much alive in the world. It's just taken on a different place holder in our minds. All the qualities of preferred status, class and the haughty selfish implications of power, class and preference which this implies were propagated by England throughout the world at the dawn of the Imperial Age.
England has more ties throughout the world than any other single country. And in this day and age of the Internet, Prince Charles' network of networks is beginning to weave a much more active web. Why? Because the net and technology simply speeds up the interaction of the people behind these relationships.
Novell and Prince Charles.
If Novell climbs in bed with Prince Charles and vis versa then perhaps we are beginning to "see" the implications of where Novell wants to take their technology.
I don't think Gates' network among world governments can hold a candle to Prince Charles.
I think we are witnessing the gathering and aggregating of these old forces of power and control.
All this has nothing to do with this New Age, new energy and new focus. It has nothing to do with community, service, openness, compassion, light, trust, risk, etc.
It used to be that anytime someone tried to help and serve, there was always the presumed judgement that he/she had some agenda or implied return.
Now people are beginning to realize that a life of risk, service, truth and openness is it's own reward. For only when we begin to learn the value of trusting and forgiving ourselves do we learn the value of trusting and forgiving others. At this point we begin to learn how to reclaim our personal energy - not from an egocentric point or purpose - but just for the sheer joy of being and sharing and living.
For when we learn to trust the world again, we become more like what we once were as children - supremely powerful, innocent, loving, aware and transparent.
Traditional Old style companies and governments have become the "The England" of this New Century. The arrogant imperial power and control this duality would like to exercise also plays into all the fear-based religions throughout the world.
As this year progresses, sit back and watch the world stage fill up with bold proclamations, recantations, and proposals for cooperation, collaboration, etc.
But underneath the surface of all the words, look at the structure, procedures and processes which are designed to extend the Old model of power and control.
This New river of life - ie. trust, freedom, truth and light - which has been dry for many years is raging right now. More people will be risking and jumping into this New Paradigm. Either jump in or be left behind in the hands of those who want to continue to exert power and control.
What does this have to do with Novell.
"Novell" can be New.
Or it can clinge to the Old.
