Dear Steve: I believe your comment would apply to any company. ie as technology begins to age either it must be replaced by better (in some way) technology or prices and margins must be reduced. You are presuming that SUNW will not continue to innovate and bring to the market new technology that will justify existing margins. Just based upon reading between the lines of that infamous Bill Joy article being thrown all over the place, I suspect they are in fact working on revolutionary technology. So revolutionary perhaps it even scares Bill Joy?? But, in any event, the future depends upon the company's ability to innovate. You either believe they have that ability or you dont. So far I think the ball is in their corner. JDN
