Rogers AT&T Wireless Selects Infowave Software to Provide Access to Microsoft(R) Outlook(R) Email, Calendar, Tasks, and Contacts
Symmetry(TM) Offers New and Existing Subscribers Access to Desktop Outlook Information Across All Rogers AT&T Networks and Wireless Devices

BURNABY, British Columbia, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Infowave Software, Inc. (Toronto: IW. - news) and Rogers AT&T Wireless (NYSE: RCN - news; Toronto: RCM.B - news) today announced that Rogers AT&T Wireless has placed an order for a branded version of Infowave's Symmetry software. The Rogers AT&T Wireless branded product will be offered to new and existing subscribers across their broad range of networks including Digital PCS, wireless data, and paging. Rogers AT&T Wireless is Canada's largest wireless provider and has over 2.6 million subscribers.

Symmetry is PC software that works with Microsoft Outlook to send email, calendar, meeting reminders, and task lists to a users wireless device. Symmetry works with a spectrum of devices including pagers, PCS phones, hand-held computers, or any other wireless e-mail device. With two-way devices, users can also reply to emails and query their Outlook information to request contacts, schedules and task lists. Email that is sent from the wireless device uses the same address as if it were sent from the desktop.

``Rogers AT&T Wireless offers subscribers choice in both the wireless networks they need and devices they use,' said Charles Hoffman, President and CEO, Rogers AT&T Wireless. ``Symmetry leverages this strength and provides our customers with additional value by having their existing device work as a real-time window into their important Outlook information.'

``Symmetry turns the wireless device that Rogers AT&T Wireless subscribers are already carrying into a powerful link back to their desktop,' says Jim McIntosh, Infowave's President and CEO. ``Symmetry combined with Rogers AT&T Wireless' extensive wireless networks will enable their subscribers to experience first-hand the real benefits of wireless data communications.'

The Rogers AT&T Wireless branded version of Symmetry will be made available directly online, bundled with devices and through Rogers AT&T's extensive retail presence.

``Symmetry software immediately brings push access to Outlook calendar, email and tasks to our PCS and messaging customers. As Rogers implements additional two-way capabilities to its networks our customers will be able to pull Outlook information anytime they choose with their existing hardware,' said Mr. Hoffman.

Infowave's software provides fast wireless access to web-based applications, the Internet, corporate Intranets and email for mobile workers who need real-time access to important desktop information, whether they're across the hall or across the country. Infowave's customers can choose from a spectrum of mobile devices including phones, pagers, handheld computers and laptops. Infowave's software sends the right information to the right device at the right time.
