Corning has been saying that they plan a couple of acquisitions this year. You can bet they want to keep the stock price in line. I think they picked a good way. First preannounce. Then there will also be a run up to earnings in anticipation of great earnings accompanied by a stock split. I have not sold any shares in this one.
