I used to work for CNBC. There is little/no link there to MSFT. Insana is, by far, the best on-air talent. Bill Griffeth (is he still there?) was the other.
The rest of them are frat boys or pretty faces. There were very few deep thinkers in that group. Most of them were good at reading a teleprompter and looking pretty. That's what set Insana apart....not the best looking guy in the world, but a hell of a reporter/interviewer. His story about getting on-air is pretty funny, too. He was part time technical help at the old FNN when somebody got sick. Due to lack of personnel in the studio at the time, he got the call. Basically, he's never looked back.

CNBC loves ORCL, in general...though I don't think they (or anybody) is truly fond of LE. Not that that matters. It isn't about LE, it's about ORCL.
