Regarding classics, I just did a quick search on cdnow and found a song covered by the following: Tony Bennett, Sara Vaughn, Sam Cooke, Floyd Cramer, Mario Lanza, Elvis Presley, Jackie Wilson, Harry Belafonte, Duane Eddy, Judy Garland, Al Hirt, Mahalia Jackson, Patti LaBelle, Bill Monroe, Patti Page, Johnny Paycheck, Willie Nelson, Paul Robeson, Art Tatum, Conway Twitty, Eric Clapton, Rosemary Clooney, and many others (but not Sinatra).
Any guesses as to which song it is, and does anyone know of any other tune covered by as diverse a group of performers? |
