ELMER isn't that AMD's one great strength which Intel doesn't have, which is another division to carry the load for processor division if Intel decides to wage another price war, like your buddy Kumar is hinting. Not only is AMD able to ship 850 mhz to 1 ghz chips in quantity, AMD also has the best flash and FASL is the worlds largest producer of flash. Also, for most companies, downsizing and getting focused, usually helps the bottom line. Intel is still buying Internet companies; diversifying and trying to get out (Willy notwithstanding) of x-86 market. If Willy proves to be as great of a success as Itanium; Intel will be down to renting its office bldg. also.
