Alexa, no of course I would like not to see each state with it's own currency?? I thought we were discussing socioeconomic issues not the others you outlined. My broad statements were not meant to address all of the complexity of the issues involved. They were only intended as a philosophical framework.

So I take it you believe that if a person receives Welfare he or she should be forced to work? Is that correct? What if they had children? Should we also pay for day care? How about transportation to and from work? What if they are sick?

I make the above statements only because none of us has addressed the complexities of the issues involved. I believe in the area's regarding socioeconomics, you need to be at the local level to really see what the needs are, that's all I'm saying.

I take it you disagree with this?
