Haqihana- Thanks for your reply but apparently yours as with so many millions of others' observations as to what has really been happening over the past years are obscured and fuzzy to say the least. It's ludicrous to think there is no more "big oil". Take a look at the impact it's making around the world right now with rising prices to the consumer and the chain reactions to the price of everything. Without oil today everything stops--EVERYTHING--the entire food supply on down to flushing your toilet and certainly this internet we're using now.
The Bush family is heavily invested and connected to the powers that be in the oil industry. Hence, such phenomena as the Gulf War. Think about that!!
Nevertheless, I personally don't give a hoot whether Gore, Bush or Joe Shit the rag man gets elected. My point is that I'm sure Bush will be but not because of "his" record as Governor of Texas. He like any other official says and does what his bosses tell him to do and say. It's high time people take the time to find out who the real bosses are and what they're up to---and I assure you that we the people have no power over what happens.
By the way--Texas isn't the only state that has gotten its economic house somewhat in order. Most of the governors are bragging about the same things as Texas. It's only made possible by the bosses of Alan Greenspan for the purpose of maintaining their power. Do some research on who those bosses are and how they go about doing business.
So relax Haqihana, Bush will be president but only because in the subconscious minds of the voters he has the most masculine image. It has nothing to do with the issues.
Keep studying. Eventually you'll get the whole picture.
Regards-- AKOM
