Netscape Users--[ This program has performed an illegal operations and will shut Down], Happened to me when I go to EDIT/Preferences and also when I shut down. Anyone seeing this? According to the NSCP Communicator News Group this started about middle part of February. I've skimmed thru about three hundred thousand post and seems there are about fifty or more fixes. I've tried most, no luck until now. I have destroyed Address Book so far. Try this!!! Locate the Prefs.js file. I'ts in your User file, or click Start/Find and once located, right click, Properties, Now make sure the Read Only box is NOT checked. Archive box is OK checked, Just uncheck Read Only. Seems to be working so far, might work for you or won't. Every machine seems different. Different Strokes for Different Folks!!!! Regards, /jw
