In the last few days I think I heard that economic growth was starting to slow. Did I hear that right? I see that the S&P 500 is almost back up to where it was when I sold down to the 25% level. I'm considering selling the remaining portion, but if the economy is starting to slow, perhaps some of the market's downside risk has abated. On the other hand, I guess there's the possibility that the tightenings accomplished so far, plus the huge increase in oil prices, might drive us into recession. So maybe fence-straddling is is right place to be after all.
