New SiteManager-1 Brings Telcos and ISPs Comprehensive, Cost-Effective Internet Security to Better Reach High Growth Small and Medium Business Market

(Nasdaq:CHKP - news), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today introduced Check Point SiteManager-1 System, a new solution designed specifically to enable telcos and service providers to address the high-growth market for delivering managed Internet security and VPN services to small and medium businesses.
Based on the company's Secure Virtual Network (SVN) architecture, SiteManager-1 System is designed to significantly lower a service provider's cost of overall ownership and deployment for managed VPN and firewall services.

SiteManager-1 System includes two new products, SiteManager-1 management software and SM-1 Appliance, combining a comprehensive, centralized management system at the provider network operations center with integrated VPN/security capabilities on the customer premises.
Check Point SiteManager-1 management software enables service providers to centrally manage the individual security policies of small and medium businesses with a single gateway per company location.
It leverages Check Point's Provider-1 technology, the industry's only security solution that enables large-scale, centralized multi-domain customer management for telcos, service providers and large enterprises.
Check Point SM-1 Appliance integrates Check Point's industry-leading VPN-1/FireWall-1 software with Nokia's (NYSE:NOK) specially designed hardware to deliver the industry's most powerful and secure Internet connectivity solutions.
It is based on the market-leading Check Point/Nokia VPN-1 Appliance and designed for deployment on a customer premises for on-site security enforcement in conjunction with centralized management by the service provider.
