Sure he has a point. He just makes it without first figuring out whether the facts support it.

But speaking of IOM's performance this week, I'd have to say it wasn't bad. Consider the news of the week. First, a recall of Jaz disks. Not a catastrophe, but not good news either. Second, a reduction in earnings estimates for this quarter from H&Q, related to the recall. Again, not that big a deal, but hardly good news. Third, another in the continuing series of hatchet-job articles from Herb Greenberg.

Yet, with these negatives in place, the stock was up for the week.

I don't have a problem with that.
