Charles, JC - you're drifting into a weak argument here. The front end machines on the web are predominantly NT or Linux, and the Solaris machines in the mix are smaller configurations. There is almost no presence for machines larger than 2P in web front ends. In the race for actual transactions delivered, NT has the edge. In cost per transaction, and in several manageability metrics, Linux is king. Where are you planning on going with this line of discussion??
